The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.
