Cosy, double room in artist’s house.

We are NOT in the city of York, but a separate town 9 miles away, just to clarify. We moved to this characterful house 5 years ago, slowly renovating with a ‘Fawlty Towers’ vibe. This double room is in the attic so feels cosy, but with dual aspect original sash windows is bright & airy too. It’s the smallest of our rooms so ideal for quick stop overs and has use of our newly fitted shower room. This room isn’t suitable for dogs. I serve breakfast from 7am -9.30am, cooked breakfast from 7.30am.

Whitby B&B with parking and continental breakfast

Located on the edge of Whitby this is a large sunny bedroom with an en-suite. We are about 20 mins walk into town and 5 mins from Sneaton Castle. The bed is a very comfortable double. The en-suite has a toilet, shower and pretty gold glass washbasin set on natural oak. The floor has underfloor heating giving you warm feet. We give you a nice continental breakfast served in the comfort of your own bedroom. There is a parking space on our drive. Just to be aware, we do have a friendly dog, Daisy.

Built in 1750,and Grade II Listed it is set in seven acres, with mature and well laid gardens, which take advantage of the views over the Esk Valley and River Esk. The rental is for the East Wing of the house with its own front door. Furnished in a unique style, it has been described as 'quirky' and 'home from home' by our guests.We take two guests at a time, so it is a relaxing place to come and stay

Located in the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay, next door to the Wayfarer Restaurant and close to the Victoria Hotel. West Royd was historically run as a traditional B&B for over 20 years. Following the retirement of the previous owners, it is now run as a room only Air B&B. There are 3 guest rooms available each offers an old world Victorian charm with the advantage of all mod cons. The house is secluded and sits within 2.5 acres surrounded by trees. You will have the benefit of a shared breakfast room with complimentary cereals, and toast.
