The epitome of value and unique accommodations, the large family caboose at the Red Caboose Motel offers you the ability to sleep up to 6 people inside of real railroad caboose that once rode the rails of the American Railroads. The Large Family Caboose has a double bed and two sets of bunk beds. While each room is appointed with varying floor plans and decor, each has a bathroom with shower (some include a tub, available by request), cable television, refrigerator and microwave. Heat and air conditioning are included so that you're comfortable no matter what time of year you visit.

This newly-renovated, air conditioned 1953 D&H railway baywindow caboose features barnwood wainscoting, tiled shower, bunk beds, futon, sofa opening to double bed, and kitchenette. The rural property 7 miles outside of Ithaca is one mile from Robert Treman State Park where you can swim beneath the waterfall. Railway memorabilia and railroad-themed books for adults and children enhance the experience. Listed price is for two guests; $25 fee added for each additional guest. Continental breakfast.
