Welcome to my little 8 acre oasis! Being the first farm I’ve ever lived on, I understand the peace and tranquility it can offer those who have never experienced it. Enjoy meeting my horses and mini donkeys, take a walk through my woods, or have a fire! Aside from being just far enough, but just close enough to all the happenings in the city, my newly remodeled private entry, ground level basement apartment offers an escape from the noise and a place to unwind and relax. NO CHORES REQUIRED! 😊

Charming suite, great location

Hosts live on upper floors. Lower level, private suite (stair access) has been designed and decorated for you. It features a living room with gas fireplace, bedroom, and bathroom. Next to St.Olaf college, 1 mile to Carleton and downtown, steps from the Ole Store Cafe. Our house is surrounded by trees, perennial gardens, and adjoins the St. Olaf athletic fields. Unfortunately, this space is not suitable for young children. Also, the stairs may be difficult for someone with physical limitations.

This is a very rare historical building built in the 1920's The villa has a 2 person whirlpool jacuzzi , rain shower, beautiful full kitchen, fireplace and next to the 550 acre Washington County Cottage Grove Ravine regional park reserve. A private, peaceful space 2 blocks from St. Olaf College and less than 1 mile from downtown and Carleton College. Our location is convenient, cozy and unique being an old ginseng farm, the duplex has a rural feel and is tucked away from the street. Enjoy a patio space to grill at while soaking in the outdoors. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but the Ole Store, a Northfield favorite, is just down the block. Dogs are allowed when added on the reservation and pet fee has been paid for.

Close to everything in the heart of downtown makes it easy to plan your visit. It's 1 ½ blocks to groceries, brewery, coffee shops, restaurants, event centers, summer markets and more. Carleton’s campus is a short walk and St. Olaf College a short drive away. You will climb a flight of stairs to this 2nd floor space to see great sunsets and views of the river. With so much going on downtown, you’ll still find this a cozy and quiet space to write, draw, create or just relax.

The 508 Loft is located in the heart of Historic Northfield. We offer a modern space that is still cozy. Our space has been newly remodeled. The Loft is in a historic brick building that has a great walk score to restaurants, entertainment, groceries and liquor store. Enjoy a stroll in the historical part downtown or unwind in the clean loft with a nice bottle of wine. We serve a lot of guests that have weddings in town along with college parents and professional(s). Welcome.
