Furnished Japanese style, a room with a view! Close to South point, Green & black Sand beach & snorkelfun bays. Kahuku volcano park is close (10 min), great hiking! Welcome to The Flower Bed, a greenhouse cabin on the slopes of Mauna Loa, Big Island with everything you need for a great vacation. Relax on the outdoor patio, cozy up with a book on the loveseat, enjoy the rainfall shower. Gaze at the amazing stars and be lulled to sleep by evening nature sounds. Awake to birds in song and morning sun filtering through the window. Sample an edible flower, use a pinch of lavender for calm, and enjoy peekaboo ocean views. You won’t regret staying several nights!

Kehena Beach Ocean Front Cliff House

This home is obviously unique and has even been featured on HGTV's Off Beat American & The Travel Channel, but it is the land itself that we fell in love with. This all-concrete house is ocean front and perched on a lava cliff at Kehena Point. The Point sticks out into the ocean further than the surrounding lava cliffs and offers unparalleled views of the coast in both directions. Watch whales in season (November-April), and walk to a black sand beach.

This quiet mountain hide-a-way offers peace and serenity in a rural location close to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. We are completely off grid.. we use rain water for showering… but don’t worry it’s a hot shower. Our toilets are compost to use less water and work with Mother Nature. U also have ur own tiny back yard hang out area, Wi-Fi available
