Centrally located within a very comfortable 150 metre stroll to the heart of town & adjacent to ‘The Wreck,’ one of Byron's most famous surf breaks, Bay Haven Lodge is a fully renovated & modernised traditional whaler's cottage. Our Garden rooms, each with complimentary tea & coffee amenities & natural toiletries, open to our gorgeous common sunroom & out to the garden complete with sun lounges & a peaceful lily filled pond, with access to an outdoor shower, BBQ & shared fridge & of course Wifi!

The Alabama was first established as a hotel in 1867. The modern and stylishly designed Deluxe Lake View Rooms are located on upper floor, offer stunning views across Lake Tekapo and surrounding mountains, a super king bed or 2 single beds(can add an extra bed) and a luxurious bathroom with a bathtub. On a clear night, you can lie in the bed and watch the bright stars and galaxy through the skylight. Room has an area of about 24m2. The standard rate includes bed and breakfast for 2 guests and can accommodate up to 3 guests(with an additional cost)
