Ash View Apartment for Walkers, Cyclists & Artists

A beautiful Victorian basement apartment in a perfect location for exploring Dartmoor National Park and the surrounding area by foot, bicycle or car. Fully fitted kitchen, bathroom with walk in shower, and generously sized bedroom. Ash View has underfloor heating to keep you cosy. Sole entry to the apartment is via a set of outdoor stairs. Secure bicycle storage is inside the apartment and a boot room for drying clothing and gear. Art workshops are also available and taught by the host!

Perfect for walkers, the village of Belstone is on the north edge of Dartmoor National Park, yet only 5 minutes from the A30. Sheep and ponies graze freely through the village, and as you walk past the excellent Tors Inn the moor opens up giving access to hiking, biking and horse riding activities. Once you have arrived in Belstone you can leave your car and simply enjoy the walks and outdoor pursuits Dartmoor has to offer. Okehampton with it's range of shops is an easy 10 minute drive away.

Springfield Cottage - Cosy Medieval Hall House

Springfield Cottage is a few steps away from the centre of Chagford, a unique and historic town on Dartmoor. One of oldest properties in the town, it is a warm and welcoming house full of period features dating back to medieval times, including a large inglenook fireplace. A small frontage with lots behind! It has all modern comforts including a fully equipped kitchen and a separate wet-room style shower room with under-floor heating. Off-road parking (better suited to small to mid sized cars).

Chapel Corner forms half of a converted Wesleyan Chapel built in 1864. It is centred in the beautiful, ancient village of Winkleigh which is the heart of Devon, equidistant from both coasts and moors and allows guests to explore this fantastic area. The Chapel is foremost a home; comfortable and quirky. There is a spacious kitchen with with a stunning staircase, a large sitting and dining room with cosy woodburner, two beautiful bedrooms, a modern shower room and bathroom. Parking for 1 car.

The Old Sunday School is located in the picturesque and peaceful village of Harrowbarrow with stunning views of the Tamar Valley and beyond. The Grade II listed former Wesleyan Sunday School retains many of its original features and has been recently refurbished to a high standard with a contemporary interior including a large ensuite bedroom with dressing area and glass partition giving a mezzanine feel to the beautiful open-plan living space. On the boarder of Devon and Cornwall, nestled in the Wolf Valley and within walking distance to Roadford lake. A perfect getaway for up to 4 people with two large roomy bedrooms, a fantastic open living area and a large outdoor decking. There's a whole heap of things to do within the local area - popular excursions are; water sports on the lake, walking and cycling. NB - the annex is not suitable for under 8 (see safety info) Recently added is a three person infra-red Sauna.

The Annex

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.

Melrose Cottage: Gateway to Dartmoor National Park

Bright and airy, newly renovated cottage in central Okehampton. Off street parking for two cars with exclusive use of an EV charger (charges apply). Ideally located for the Devon cycling mecca, the Granite Way, which is at the end of the road. A number of pubs, shops and restaurants are a short walk away. Dartmoor itself is also accessible by foot or a few minutes in the car. The sandy beaches of North Devon are a 40 minute drive away if you fancy a surf!

One mile from Spreyton village, (a pleasant walk along the footpaths through fields) which has a community shop and the award winning Tom Cobley Tavern. Spreyton is ideally located 10 mins from the A30, just 4 miles north of Dartmoor National Park and within easy access of the north and south Devon coasts.
