Bedroom has two queen beds, TV, and large desk. Located 8 minutes from downtown Gig Harbor waterfront, shopping, dining, YMCA, St. Anthony Hospital and Hwy 16. Walk the waterfront or one of many local trails. Recreation: kayak, canoe and SUP rentals, sail boat and gondola tours. Horseshoe Lake public beach and Kopachuck State Park.

Olalla Bay Getaway is at the waters edge, just 45 minutes from Seattle via ferry or 10 minutes from Gig Harbor. The ever-changing views of the occasional seals, otters, porpoises, and eagles. The sound of waves and birds makes the perfect soundtrack for your getaway. Enjoy relaxing on the sun filled deck or check out the porch swing-perfect for a good book, glass of wine or a nap after your days adventure. Forest Cabin is 380sf of coziness on a peaceful 40 acre waterfront estate. Enjoy a comfy full/double bed up in the loft (notice the ladder up), a peekaboo view through the forest canopy to Puget Sound, relax in the outdoor clawfoot tub or beside the wood stove (wood provided), rest in a hammock during summer, and watch the chickens and ducks peck about. Walk 3.min. across the field to access 1000 ft of private, southern exposure Puget Sound beach. Leashed pets are welcome w/a $45 pet fee.

Chesnut Cottage - writers retreat @ Harper's Hill

The Chesnut Cottage is the perfect quaint romantic getaway or rustic writer's retreat. One of three AirB&B listings on our 10-acre property atop Harper's Hill, it is surrounded by woods and a short walk up from the Puget Sound where you can fish from Harper pier or kayak over to Blake Island. The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Harper is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.
