We are within 10 minutes to the San Diego International Airport and a quick Uber ride to Downtown, Little Italy. Walk to the heart of Hillcrest, Balboa Park and the Zoo. Be at the beach in less then 15 minutes. Central location near the I-5, I-163 & I-8. Because of the hardwood floors, you will hear the footsteps above. Spacious apartment, old world charm

Our open-space apartment is full of charm and character. From the Spanish-tiled private entry to the footed tub shower, you will experience a unique feeling. Enjoy the nearby vibrant restaurant scene as well as the rooftop deck with its harbor view! The ceilings are low in a couple spots and could be a challenge for folks who are especially tall. My boyfriend is 6'4" and has learned to adapt! It may be something to consider. House noises travel in this old home, so it can be a factor for some.

Mike's House and Garden

The care taken to honor the atmosphere of the original 1910 house creates a feeling of another time and place. The house is secluded in a prize winning garden and approached through a stone pergola. The Craftsman furniture, lighting and antique Persian carpets reflect a distant and captivating sensibility. This house has been featured in three books and “American Bungalow” magazine. The garden was mentioned in Sunset Magazine and featured as one of the premier gardens of University Heights.
