Otematata's population is 200, swelling to 5000 in summer. It is on the road between Oamaru & Omarama.

This lovely popular two storey house is affordable, clean, comfortable, warm, family-friendly and spacious. It comes with free WiFi (fibre) and linen. We offer a flexible cancellation policy especially during lockdown. The house is situated on the quiet western side of town with breath taking views of the Ben Ohau ranges and surrounding mountains. Unit A5, Waitaki Lakes Apartments is a one bedroom fully serviced apartment in idyllic surroundings on the edge of the Otematata Golf Course with the Alps2Ocean cycle trail, walking trails and wetland areas nearby. The apartment has been refurbished with a new kitchenette & bathroom, double glazing and interior upgrade. Please note that I am not on site but please message anytime if you have any queries or need anything. This is our holiday home so please be mindful of this.

High Country Escape

Welcome to our family holiday home, set amongst mature trees in a large tranquil garden. It’s an easy walk to the town centre, cafés, pubs, shops and the playground. The house is sunny, warm and comfortable with heat pumps in every room and a log burner if you prefer a fire. Lots of outside space for kids to burn off energy. Three bedrooms, 1 bathroom (a separate toilet), an open plan modern kitchen, dining, living area and laundry. We are equipped for young children.

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, sheep, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.
