The accommodation is set amongst Paperbark trees (once part of the surrounding Tomaree national park), a short stroll from the crystal waters of One Mile beach. A luxury cottage with two bedrooms, fully self contained, Resort/Tropical setting that sleeps up to to 4 people. A Bunkhouse (no a/c, fan only) with pool table, Darts, entertainment system and a bunkroom that sleeps up to 5 people. Ideal for large groups or two families with teenagers. Surfside is not suited for young children.

Swimmers Rest is a colourful beach house with a retro and fun style, but comfortable amenities. It appeals to mid-week couples stays where you'll have local beaches to yourselves, as well as families & friends making new holiday memories. It's beautiful in summer or winter, whether walking, swimming or whale/dolphin watching. There's delicious options for eating out with a water view, or you can cook up a storm and chill with a G&T/cocktail on the deck overlooking the small native garden.

This suite is all brand new (2023 construction) and has open plan lounge and dining area, ensuite, walk-in robe and expansive terrace. Kitchen facilities include sink, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. Street parking is available out front. Centrally located 5 mins drive to Salamander Bay Shopping Centre and 5 mins to Nelson Bay Marina.

2 Bedroom Bottlebrush Cabin

Our 2 Bedroom Bottlebrush Cabins sleep up to six guests, with a queen bed in the main bedroom and two bunks in the second bedroom, as well as a bathroom with separate toilet, kitchen, living area, and a private deck. This cabin is pet friendly. There is an additional charge of $15 per pet, per night payable on arrival. Please contact the park directly for details on the pet policy. The Cabin sleeps up to 6 guests: maximum 4 adults, with remaining guests being children aged 12 and under.

Set on a leafy 2-acre block that's only 4 minutes drive from One Mile Beach, the Bird House is a comfy, freshly renovated home that offers multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, 4 bedrooms, hammock, BBQ, Wifi, XBox and board games. The house is fenced off from the rest of the block, so you have your own private, family-friendly gardens front and back. These are surrounded by wild gardens and the national park, providing a tranquil haven that attracts birds and other wildlife.
