Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Kia ora. 21morero is a 100 year old bungalow that we have owned for 20 years. It's where we raised our family and now we would like to share it with others. It's a place to relax: snuggle up with a book from the small library, cook something delicious in the well appointed kitchen, have a run on the treadmill, share a glass of wine around the family dining table, or chill out in your comfortable room. Taumarunui is central to a range of outdoor activities. There are mountain bike trails, and tramping trails. Situated between 2 rivers provides fishing and kayaking experiences. We are about 35 minutes from Mt. Ruapehu and Whakapapa ski village. We are located about 4 Ks from Taumarunui town which has a supermarket, restaurants and other places of interest. please note: microwave only for heating food

The Tree House with hot tub @ Wood Pigeon Lodge

The Tree House is set on a small hill in the tree tops, requiring being able to climb multiple steps for access through the bush. At the top you receive stunning views of the surrounding forest. This eco house generates its own electricity and is designed to capture the sun. The two person wood fired hot tub is the perfect way to relax after a day skiing or climbing the Tongariro Crossing.

Sit in your private spa pool after a busy day and watch the sun go down and the stars in the evening, they are so clear.
