Big R's Retreat Secluded and located in Nature

Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

My place is close to great views and family-friendly activities. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and big groups. Located in the small town of Ontario, WI the suite has a full kitchen and bathroom. Includes a pool table and Foosball table. 2 queen beds, 2 queen sleeper-sofas, 1 full-size bed, and 1 full sleeper-sofa . DirectTV & WiFi.The 1100 square foot suite is located above our garage has its own entrance. Newly completed and includes every thing.

Country Living Cabin

Brush Creek Log Cabins is your perfect get away for couples or the whole family. If you are looking to relax, do some recreational activities like canoeing , bike riding, hiking, antiquing and Amish shopping or spend time with that special someone you can find it just a few hours from home. We are in between Ontario and Cashton, off of Hwy 33. Over looking the Amish farms below. There are fairs and festivals many with tractor pulls nearby. Warrens cranberry festival and the Dells are nearby.

Rustic cabin in an orchard at Echo Valley Farm

Rustic cabin near Wildcat Mountain State Park and Kickapoo Valley Reserve. A quiet place to disconnect, hike, and enjoy the Driftless. The cabin has electricity, supplied water and a non chemical port-o-let, a heater, wood stove (we supply all indoor wood), fire pit and charcoal grill. Our Bakery is open Saturday-Sunday 9-4, May -October or order in advance off season. Short walk from parking to the cabin; we will transport your gear if needed. Enjoy our trails! LGBTQ owned. This is THE place to immerse in nature then relax with a meal and a cozy fire. Soak your tired muscles in the claw foot tub after a fun day out exploring. Enjoy the cold A/C, the toasty fireplace, or the chef's kitchen. Families enjoy the kid gear and safe single level space for a low stress retreat

Timber Creek Retreat

Get away for a restful stay at this scenic hidden gem of Vernon County. Timber Coulee Creek, a Class 1 trout stream, ripples right through the backyard. You will enjoy watching deer and turkey as they amble through the property. Bald eagles soar overhead and fish jump in the stream. Listen to the gurgle of the water flowing over the rocks and the music of the birds. Try your hand at fly fishing. Sit around the fire pit, roast marshmallows, watch the flames dance and the stars come out.

Perfect spot to relax with sounds of nature and views of the Valley. Inside this modern cabin is a loft with a king and 2 XL twins, main level bedroom with full bed and a full size sofa sleeper. This apartment was added to the back of our detached garage about 5 years ago. Low or no VOC products were used throughout construction. Brand new appliances installed with an oven big enough to cook the biggest turkey I’ve ever dreamed of. Spectacular ridge top views and beautiful starry nights. Hiking and cross country ski trails on the property of about 75 acres. Pick hazelnuts in the fall, collect and boil your own maple sap in the spring and pick blueberries in the summer.

Sittin Pretty Tiny House nestled in Amish Paradise

Sittin Pretty Tiny House is perched up on Dach Ridge six miles out of Viroqua just off County NN offering lovely views across neighboring farm fields toward the western horizon. Surrounding woods with a walking trail give an intimate sense of the natural world. You are in the heart of Amish country and the goings and comings of their agrarian lives give a sense of another time. 1/4 mile walk down the road, at the nearest Amish neighbor, you can buy produce in season and eggs.
