Bamboo Bungalow

Our slice of paradise sits on 1 acre of manicured tropical orchard with over 40 varieties of fruit trees, a giant stand of bamboo, hundreds of orchids and herbs. Newly constructed unattached studio cottage with canopy queen size bed and super comfortable full size futon. Indoor bath with shower and outdoor bamboo shower. Brand new kitchen and an adorable lanai for enjoying the panoramic view of sunset or morning coffee. Our teak swing above the cottage offers a horizon view of the ocean.

The Bird's Nest

Located on the beautiful East side of the Big Island. This 1880 sq/ft (Includes open BBQ area, 2nd bath, washroom & open space downstairs) home. It sits on an acre lot surrounded by ohia trees, wild orchids & hapu'u ferns. This property is located in a residential neighborhood for you to conveniently explore the East side including several black sand beaches, hikes to tide pools & waterfalls near Hilo & Volcanoes National Park. Birds songs can be heard in the day & coqui frog chirps at night.

We are hosting a Quiet Hawaiian Oasis, less then 15 min from Hilo, Hilo airport and 15 min from the earthy hippie town of Pahoa. Our Ohana has easy access to main road but far enough away to be in complete silence and zero light pollution. The studio is separate from main house with a kitchenette, full bathroom with tub and central air conditioning. If your looking for great beaches, waterfalls, and hikes through the rainforest and botanical gardens, look no further.

Large studio unit attached to our family home in HPP, a rural subdivision in Puna on Hawai‘i Island. 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport & 40 min from Volcanoes National Park. We have two large dogs, Jack & Boogie, and many cats. They bark and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs this is not the place for you. Animal noises, including coqui frogs, are part of this rural space. You agree to all "House Rules" by instantly booking.

The home is filled with local art, a fully equipped kitchen, beach equipment, fruit trees, and a large lanai (patio). We are centrally located on the east side of the Big Island between Volcano Nat. In a short driving distance from this bb is a popular 2.5 mile hike to a beautiful secluded beach with turtles relaxing on the shores. Down the other end of the road about a 2min drive you'll enjoy the paradise view of the pacific ocean with waves crashing against the cliffs. Up the mountain top visit the most spectacular view of the lava flow lighting up the night sky.
