It is centrally located approximately 20 minutes to all nearby cities; San Francisco Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Hayward and the Oakland Airport (during non-commute hours)

Our typical guest has grandkids or children that live in our area, is in town for work or is traveling from just about anywhere in the world. Guests have said they like being close to SF at a very reasonable price. We're a family home so you can hear our family when we are in the kitchen. The Sweet Suite is behind our kitchen. Our kids have grown up doing Airbnb so they work to be as quiet as they can when guests are in the Sweet Suite. There is no doubt you will hear us at some point.

We are located in the Redwood Heights neighborhood of Oakland California with easy access to freeways, shopping, sights, and restaurants. This is the perfect home base for national and inter-national travelers visiting the Bay Area. The studio has a small kitchenette, bathroom, and a comfortable queen size bed. There’s a flatscreen TV , wifi, and a shared garden patio right outside the door.

We neighbor Walnut Creek and are close to Hwys. 24/680. We are a 5-8 minute drive to the Lafayette BART station. San Francisco is a 25 minute train ride and when there is no traffic a quick 30 minute drive to downtown SF (with traffic add another 15-20 minutes). CAL or St. Mary's College bound? We are about 15-20 minutes away.

My place is great for business travelers. It does not have shared facilities for laundry or cooking.

Full kitchen, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a private outdoor deck. This place is often a good fit for folks visiting their college grads, here on business, and avid hikers. Very comfortable for longer stays.
