Quiet but Central Home. Breakfast Included. Room 2

A Spacious timber house in a quiet yet central position for access to restaraunts,bus station,tourist information, ferry terminal to North Isles all within a 5 min walk.I have two double rooms. Room1 a choice of two single beds or a double. Room2 a double. Separate bookings same price. I am a keen outdoor user and enjoy many aspects Orkney has to offer whether, kayaking, walking ,cycling,bird watching. 40 years of experience to share.Breakfast is served in my sun room overlooking the garden.

Stay in the rural heart of Neolithic Orkney

Stay with us in our eco home in the rural heart of Orkney. A short drive from Maes Howe, the Ring of Brodgar, & the Loch of Harray. A 20 minute drive from Kirkwall, Stromness, & the main tourist sites. We are not easily reachable by bus. Dogs are welcome; please bring bedding for them as they aren't allowed on the bed or furniture. Breakfast: cereal, milk, fruit juice, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jams, & yoghurt. Check in after 4pm (rarely we may ask you to come a little later.)

A very warm welcome to Graemeshall House. Dating back to 1626, this former home to the Lairds of Graemeshall now offers luxurious Bed and Breakfast accommodation in an idyllic setting. The property has just been renovated to a very high standard. During a Royal Visit to Orkney in 1956, H.M. Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother came to Graemeshall House for afternoon tea. Guests may be assured of a warm welcome and a relaxing and comfortable stay.
