There is nothing between you and the spectacular lake view apart from some deep breaths, a wine and some down time. This is the best view in Lake Hawea! The Cottage sits at the front of the property with a fenced off and completely separate Corner Peak Studio at the back of the property.

Our tranquil ocean side retreat, overlooking a tidal reef, is conveniently located a 15 minute drive to the famous Moeraki boulders, a 40 minute drive to the historic town of Oamaru and just 10 minutes to Palmerston for shopping . Shag Point Retreat offers private gardens, a unique base for exploring and also a quiet respite “off the beaten track”. Close by a wide sweeping sandy bay. Or head to the Conservation reserve, a 10 minute walk - coastal views, seals and bird life abounds.

The Lookout is a luxurious self contained small house with wonderful harbour views and a rural back drop. Only 18 mins from Dunedin and 2 mins from Port Chalmers cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. We have a fully functioning kitchen, an underfloor heated tiled bathroom, with full bath to ease those aching muscles after a long ride on the local Rail Trails. Two super comfy Super King beds.
