Spend a relaxing peaceful stay at our self-contained studio at beautiful Kuaotunu. The studio is separate from the main house and has it's own outdoor patio. Kuaotunu beach is only 2 minutes walk away and even in summer never gets crowded. 10 mins walk to the Kuaotunu village where you will find the famous Luke's Kitchen restaurant, Kua Kawhe Cafe and the well stocked general store. And not forgetting the local ice cream store! Large reserve, Tennis courts and Petanque court are right next door.

Stroll to the beach just 2 minutes away then head along the beach or beachfront path to the cafes, Lost Springs, restaurants or the coffee cart. You can rinse off under the outdoor shower and head up to Tui's Nest, a perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day of exploring Whitianga and all the amazing local attractions. Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, New Chums Beach and Opito Bay to name a few are all waiting for you to enjoy!

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.
