This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Small cabin in the woods with many seasonal uses. There is over 1000 adjoining acres of mixed forest & fields. Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. Winter Activities and Uses Include: snowmobiling, ice fishing at a large selection of local lakes, snow shoeing etc.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located 12 mins from the airport and 18 mins from downtown, this private guest suite is attached to our family home nestled in Pinhey Forest, with access to over 5km of year-round trails. You will have the use of your own private entrance leading to a full suite, including a fully-stocked, eat-in kitchen; 4-piece bath, queen bedroom with closet space, and a bright and cozy living room with smart TV. On-site parking is included.

Spacious Fully Equipped Studio in Trendy Westboro

In a separate building from the main house, the studio is private, fully equipped and super clean. There is great coffee, teas, homemade granola, reliable wifi, and internet TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini fridge, 2-burner stove and everything you need to make a light meal. The double bed with a pillow-top is quite comfortable. Centrally located, Westboro has great restaurants, cafes, and shops. Public transport is a five minute walk away. Everyone is welcome here.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.

Whispering Timber Suite

Enjoy the peaceful calm of being surrounded by nature in Whispering Timber suite. You'll have exclusive access to the in-law suite of our home, complete with a bedroom (queen size bed), a sofa bed, a full bathroom and a small kitchen. The suite is located at the back of the home with it's own exterior entrance. Extra towels, sheets and comforters are provided, along with dishes and cookware in case you want to make a meal.

The cottage offers a magnificent view of the mountain side as well as the Pelletier River, which connects with Du Lièvre River. located on Quebec’s federated ATV and snowmobile trails. You’ll be pleased in any season.
