In the evening, a cozy cinema with ambient sound by a fireplace, a second media room with a turntable ideal for music. Outdoors, a hot tub, a wood-burning sauna, a fireplace by the lake and a slide. Cross-country ski, snowshoe trails are minutes’ walk, and snowmobile routes start right at the driveway.

Welcome to La Khabine! This cozy, modern cabin comes with all you need to relax and connect with nature. Enjoy a glass of wine with the sound of a crackling fire in the wood burning fireplace. Take in the view of the forest through the surrounding floor to ceiling windows. Relax in the private outdoor cedar barrel sauna. Newly renovated basement suite (2024) with many little extras to discover. Hot tub in private cedar gazebo with 180 view of a bush and large back and side yards or if you prefer more privacy curtains can be drawn all around. Gazebo is heated by a propane fireplace. Peaceful neighbourhood in Clarence Point, nice trails and area to go for walks. When time permits, we also offer a complimentary 20 min guided tour of the area aboard a 6 seater ATV. Bring warm clothing!

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
