Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.

Renovated semi-detached house (2br, 67sqm) in a quiet location, 5 km from Ruka. 500 m to the cross-country skiing track, 100 m to the snowmobile trail, and 4 km to the grocery store. The apartment is great for families or a group of friends. The floor plan is such that the smaller bedroom and the separate toilet are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door, so privacy is available. A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

Ketorinne is a beautiful and peaceful place at the countryside. The house is in the village of Virkkula near by Ruka. Ketorinne is lovely place for familes with children. We have well and diversely equipped kitchen. The house has everything you need for your holiday. The garden is big. Outside there are spacious views to the Porontima Lake, mountains and to the green nature. We have free WIFI. In summer time you can book a hot tub for a different price. Price is 130€ /2 days or 180€/week.

Kylpytynnyri, lakanat ja pyyhkeet sopimuksen mukaan (lisämaksu). Lumikengät ja lasten pulkat saa käyttää. Lähistöllä upeat luontokohteet: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs yms. Voit tehdä päiväretkiä läheisiin kohteisiin.Rantasauna on käytettävissäsi ja neuvomme sen lämmittämisessä. Tervetuloa erämaan rauhaan ainutlaatuiseen hirsihuvilaan järven rannalle. Arkkitehdin suunnittelema ja vanhoista hirsistä rakennettu upea mökki sijaitsee keskellä hiljaisuutta ja metsää. Mökki on avara (150 m2) ja omaa tonttia on runsaasti. Mökki on tarkoitettu 1-6 hengelle ja se on täydellinen paikka rentoutumiseen. Mökissä on kaunis puusauna, sekä portaat saunasta järvelle omalle laiturille.
