Originally built by the town's sheriff, Van Houten, for his beloved wife as a way to convince her to permanently stay in Ouray, the home is now available to the public for the first time as a luxurious vacation rental. Staying in this home offers a journey back in time. Right across from the Western Hotel and in the center of town, this Victorian gem offers a convenient central location.
