Get ready for family fun in this peaceful 3 bedroom home. Overlooking the Rangitane reserve, watch from the deck as the kids play tennis or swing at the playground. Only 200m to the boat ramp to access the beautiful Bay of Islands. 15 minutes to supplies in Kerikeri or Waipapa. 8 minutes to Doves Bay marina. Little ones can swim at high tide at the reserve. Kayak around the inlet and catch a snapper, or wander the nearby bushtracks. Listen out for the local kiwi at night.

This is a self catering, air-conditioned apartment with a spacious open plan living area, a separate bedroom and bathroom. Guests have their own patio with sea views across to the bay to Russell. The kitchen has a microwave, 2-ring hob and tea/coffee making facilities. While we are only 3.2 km from the centre of Paihia, it is a hilly walk. There is a lot to see and do here so make sure your stay isn't too short to experience what is available.

The Cowshed Cottage

Nestled in the grounds of a 9 acre property half-way along a country cul-de-sac and taking up two thirds of a converted mid-century milking shed building the Cottage is cosy, comfy and self-contained, characterised by quirky charm and surrounded by gardens and birdsong. Our Apartment is situated within walking distance of two beaches, cafes, bars and nightlife in Paihia. It is only a 5 minute walk to where you can hire bikes, kayaks and sailboards. A further 5 minutes will have you arriving at the centre of town where you will be able to book fishing trips, parasailing, ferry ride to Russell and scenic helicopter flights over the Bay of Islands.
