We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Hengleigh Studio

Hengleigh Studio is self-contained, located separately from our house, on a small lifestyle block, surrounded by a variety of top tourist attractions. The property is all flat, with a rural outlook, complete with a pond, sheep, fruit trees, and a private area to relax. Please note, it is not suitable for children, and there is 1 queen sized bed, with no room for any extra beds.

Matakana By The River

Escape and relax at Matakana By The River, a new guesthouse that overlooks the Matakana River and is located behind the Matakana War Memorial. The property's iconic white gate leads to shops, cinema, bars, restaurants, cafes and the Saturday Farmer’s Market - all within short walking distance. Greystoke House is fully self-contained set in a rural relaxed setting and has accessibility . It has 2 good size bedrooms. B/rm 1 has a Queen bed. B/rm 2 has a K bed or it can be altered to become 2 SG. It has an open plan living area which is very sunny, opening onto a large deck. The property also has a beautiful private spa.
