Steph's Cozy Apartment -newly renovated

Our newly renovated apartment has all you need to enjoy a nice trip to south Louisiana. Kitchen and bath is equipped with pots, pans, spices, cutlery, utensils, dishes, and even light breakfast items. Bath has all towels and toiletries available for use. Our apartment is located upstairs above our carport but has its own private entrance along with own air conditioner/heating system. Our place will sleep 5 comfortably. We offer an Ice Machine to help with those fishing trips and local travels.

The calendar is synced and updated daily. We are in a prime safe location close to the Houma Civic Center. We offer a private space-perfect for a couple's getaway or work trip! There's also a semi private courtyard and pool. The 322 sq.ft studio includes Wifi, a full bathroom with shower, and kitchenette. Enjoy the patio of plants, drink some wine, or simply unwind and relax. This cottage is your home away from home while traveling in the bayou area Children under age of 12 are not allowed.

You will be located within 6 miles of 5 famous plantation homes, including Oak Alley, St. Joseph's, Laura, Whitney, and Evergreen. Vacherie is an hour drive from both New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and the house is located 2.4 miles from Veteran’s Memorial Bridge. Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.
