Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). The cottage has everything you need to enjoy a holiday in the beautiful Winelands with your family or friends. The endless view of the Drakenstein Mountains spread out in front of you with the ever changing colours and shades is mesmerising. The pool in front of the cottage allows for a cool down when needed. The cottage itself is very unique, warm and friendly with mix of old and new.

The Protea Suite is nestled in the leafy neighbourhood of Courtrai in Southern Paarl. A spacious open plan area including a kitchenette ,lounge and king size bed. A clothes rack and hand basin are also in the open area. The bathroom consists of a shower and toilet. Guest have a private entrance and shared use of the swimming pool There is parking on premises, smart TV ,Wi-Fi and Netflix. Protea is close to restaurants, coffee shops ,Paarl Mall and numerous well known wine farms

Heidi’s Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

This stunning second storey apartment has great views and has a fully equipped kitchen for guests (gas stove, microwave and fridge). Laundry washing machine available at R35 per load - liquid provided. You can lounge around, or visit the three wine farms bordering us (between 5 and 10min walks) as well as a great beer breweries. We are situated on the main road to Franschhoek - 5 min drive to the center of town.
