The River House

The River House on the Blanco is just what you’re hoping for a nice trip to the Hill Country. We have a big kitchen with an island bar, 75” TV, three bedrooms w/ queen size beds, open windows with tons of natural light and front porch overlooking the blanco. All rooms have TVs with Netflix. Silo -Unique One of Kind !

4 miles to main street. One of the most unique experiences in the state of Texas, the Silo represents a piece of Texas history and provides a cozy get-away retreat. Built in 1921, the structure was originally used as a 10,000-bushel peanut silo in Fredericksburg. It was moved to this location in 2008 and restoration began. The outside porch looks down over the Hill Country. The Pedernales River is part of property (which you might share with 4 other lucky families) UberEats available.

The cabin is located on 10 acres of property and only 10 minutes away from the Hamilton Pool Preserve and Milton Reimers Ranch Park. Guests are welcome to enjoy the creek that runs seasonally through our property. Whether a sunrise or sunset the hill country views are breathtaking! Milda’s She Shed (Cozy Cabin)

Located on 4 acres nestled in the Hill Country just 30 minutes west of downtown Austin, our cabin is a great space for wine, beer, or distillery visits/tours. Hamilton Pool and Pedernales Falls State Park are close by as well. Also a great spot if you’re coming for a wedding. ***Please note that this cabin has an incinerator toilet, called “Incinolet”. It is clean and easy to use, although somewhat rustic. We will provide instructions for proper use at check in.***
