We have family of deer that reside here, & although hunting is not allowed in our community, we are 15 minutes to State Gamelands 129. 10 minutes to Pocono Raceway, 20 min to Jack Frost and boulder for skiing, 25 minutes to Split Rock resort and 5 minutes to Skirmish Paintball. Beautiful, newly remodeled 2 BR cottage on the water between pond & creek. Whole house with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, work areas with high speed internet, books, games, and ROKU TV. Primary bedroom faces the pond; 2nd bedroom is creekside. Outdoors include: gas firepit, picnic tables, gas grill, games, and seating by the water. A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
