Old Acadia Ranger Yurt at Long Pond

Newly Constructed. Old Acadia Ranger Yurt, a 25 ft. Yurt nestled in the pine and maple forest 1/4 mile from Long Pond and Acadia National Park hiking trails. New construction includes a full bath with a large walk-in shower, kitchen with gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dinette table w/ seating. Bedding includes, 1 Queen sized bed, 1-fold down double couch, Queen bed in loft, and 1 rollaway cot. Towels and bedding provided. Four (4) guests only (no exceptions). Pets are not permitted.

Fox’s Hollow at The Howling Woods

Our Yurt is hand made. Every log was peeled and split to create the initial lattice work. The inside is sheethed in thin plywood & painted which gives it a more homey feel than a typical rubbery tarp covered yurt. :) There is a large domed skylight at the center to let in the sunlight. You can also crank open the hexagon window to let in fresh air. Inside you’ll find a lofted double bed & extra blankets & a futon mattress for larger parties. The kitchenette is great for basic cooking.

Just 30 minutes from Acadia National Park, 10 minutes to Ellsworth, 20 minutes to Bangor. Proximity to ANP and all of the Downeast region can not be beat! Fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and tubing are just some of the past times while staying in this 17 foot Bell Tent. Graham Lake is just a walk away with boat access. Pioneer Cottage-near Acadia

Our private, off grid yurt is the perfect spot to relax and unwind after exploring the nearby coast of Maine. The six acre property is located just five minutes from downtown Ellsworth, malls and amenities. The space comfortably accommodates up to six adults within its five hundred square feet. A bundle of firewood is provided for the indoor cast iron wood stove and there is it plenty in the forest for the outdoor fire ring. Sleeping bags are a must have during the cooler months.

Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
