The area is bustling with activity and is joyous, cosmopolitan and lively, with both local residents and tourists happily intermingling. Cafes, stylish bistros and restaurant are right around the corner. Despite the lively night scene, there are many quiet corners around the area and lovely walks to be had away from the hustle and bustle.

The metro is just eight minutes from my place, taking you to the Acropolis, Monastiraki, Thissio, Syntagma square and virtually anywhere. The Acropolis is within twelve minutes walking distance from the apartment. After Acropolis, the pedestrian street Dionysiou Areopagitou will lead you to the amazing Thissio and Monastiraki, where the flea market is. Plaka, our old city, is just in the backside of the Acropolis hill. It is very picturesque, with traditional restaurants and coffee shops.
