Situated 3 miles from Kirkwall Town centre, with country walks from our doorstep, we offer the ideal spot to explore Orkney. We have free off road parking and an outdoor drying space. Please note: this property is accessed via stairs and no lifts etc are available.

Secluded cottage by the Sea

A unique home by the sea. A peaceful and private country road leads to this secluded cottage. The hot tub has views down scapa flow. The famous St Magus Way is accessible from this property . There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

A unique and welcoming space, Kilmallie was built in the 1960s to designs by the local painter Stanley Cursiter. Fully renovated and in a quiet location with free on street parking. Close to the golf course and within easy walking distance of the town. Two comfortable double bedrooms, one with king size bed. Well equipped kitchen, shower room and generous lounge with log burner and a piano.

Mole End Cottage is a cosy humble ‘But and Ben’ single storey cottage made for two with one double bedroom. Offered on a self-catering basis, it has its own private garden, separate private parking and an outdoor seating area. In the West mainland area called Evie, we are around 20 minutes drive from both Kirkwall and Stromness which are the two main towns on the mainland Orkney. We offer complementary toiletries and provide some main stores for the kitchen plus your teas, coffee and sugar.

Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.
