La Orquidea which opened in May of 2005 is the only private guest house snuggled in the crater on the shores of Laguna de Apoyo. It has been designed as your "home away from home" with complete kitchen, private bath, living and dining areas. Balconies from both levels of the home provide spectacular views of the cleanest laguna in Nicaragua. The tranquil enviroment is home to countless migrating and indigenous birds. We hope you will enjoy your time relaxing here, and soaking up the sun, taking a hammock on a two hour ride to nowhere or hiking the crater your house sits in. Isla Mirabel is located less than 5 minutes from Marina Cocibolca and 10 min from the colonial Granada. The island is full of exuberant flowers and fruit trees and has and a beautiful view of the Mombacho volcano. The glass house blends in with the trees, providing privacy for your stay. Swim, kayak, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Transportation at check in and out is included. Extra transportation is $6 round trip. There are 3 restaurants right there at the port.

This is one of the most unique places you could stay anywhere in Nicaragua. The cabin is on an eco-friendly working farm dedicated to biodiversity. We are located just 5 km outside of Granada on the highway to Masaya. From the farm you can see 5 different volcanoes and Lake Nicaragua. Your stay will go directly to planting trees. At present we have over 130 species of trees. You can hike to Laguna de Apoyo in one hour! The cabin has a private/indoor full bath.

A beautiful, comfortable, clean, spacious, modern house in an amazing natural setting. Feels secluded but you are near to town and near many touristical attractions. As the house is located at +550 mts above sea level. It has the perfect climate. Chilly at night (you might want to use thin blanket and wear a vest) and during the day you are perfectly of in shorts and a t-shirts without being hot or cold ( about 22 degrees Celsius or 72 Fahrenheit).

The name pays perhaps a daring homage to Famous Studio 54; also playing with our birthyear, but just with the name. This a beautiful brand new house built for our guests. It's located close to the main highway, yet far enough to keep the noise away. It's in the middle of a pretty garden with spacious, living room, kitchen, dining area, bedroom bathroom and working station. It also has outdoor space, laundry and a beautiful terrace.
