The homestay is located in a very peaceful location near simtola eco park. Its a two story traditional house. The kitchen, dining area, a queen size bed and bathroom is in the ground floor and a double bed is in the first. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen have all the basic amenities. The house features beautiful view of sunrise and snow covered peaks in a distance. Located amidst the dense deodar jungle one can sit in the garden and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time throughout the day.

Every beam carried up by hand or mule — built the old mountain way. Reached via a 25–30 min uphill trek from the parking point — a proper mountain trail, not a flat walk. Luxury Earth Home in the offbeat Himalayas

The last 7 years have been an incredible learning experience. Since we moved to the village, the priorities have changed. There was a sense of discovery in everything we did. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes. Kumaon has been a great teacher. And we hope we've done justice to her sustainable ways.

A luxury cottage well furnished and fully equipped, nestled in an Oak forest facing a valley in the Kumaon region of Mukteshwar in the Himalayas. It's an open layout with one private bedroom, and two open planned bedrooms and terraced gardens. The cottage has a covered Patio overlooking the valley. All rooms are bright as the cottage faces east! To maintain privacy, there is a railing assisted path leading down to the cottage!
