Welcome to our cozy little getaway for 2 waiting for you! Our woodsy cottage is just 1 mile from Scotts Flat Lake & 5 miles from Nevada City. This area has so much to offer from lake fun on the boat, paddle board or kayak; to mountain biking, hiking, snow shoeing and more. We are close to many foothill attractions (historical museums/landmarks/boutique shopping/theaters/music) and wine tasting/culinary delights to please the foodies. And we're only minutes to Old Town Auburn restaurants, wine bars and shops. Hiking and biking trails nearby with water sports on Folsom Lake!

Only a 10-minute walk to downtown, historic Placerville, with its variety of ethnic restaurants/bars, quaint shopping, art studio’s, live local music, microbreweries & even a local yoga studio. Close to lovely historic parks, & 15 minutes from several nearby wineries, amid the El Dorado foothills wine country. Enjoy river rafting, hiking trails & consider visiting the local lakes, rivers or a casual, 55-minute drive to Lake Tahoe for the day!

Little Red Barn

Welcome to our Little Red Barn in rural Loomis. We love this area because we are surrounded by hundreds of destinations worth exploring. Whether you're interested in CA history, white water rafting, lazy lake days, skiing in Tahoe, farm to fork, or fine dining, then our Little Red Barn is a perfect jumping off location. Our barn features a completely remodeled guest suite located on the second floor. The suite has a private entrance and deck overlooking our but growing mini farm.

Majestic View Retreat, Nevada City

Enjoy the view of the snow capped Sierras while soaking in the hot tub, reading on the private porch, or sitting next to the cozy fireplace indoors. Private, secluded Guest Suite with private entrance. A new kitchenette has been added for convenient cooking. Play a game of shuffleboard or sip a glass of wine while sitting by the outdoor fire pit. Our home is nestled under a canopy of conifers next door to the Tahoe National Forest and only a 5 minutes drive to downtown Nevada City.

Sugarloaf Manzanita Studio

Sugarloaf Manzanita Studio is tucked into the slope of Sugarloaf Mountain, overlooking the 7 hills of Nevada City. It is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to downtown restaurants, arts, and nightlife. Despite its proximity, you will feel like you are in the country with pastoral views, local parks, and a quiet neighborhood. You will share the house with a totally separate apartment on the upper level. The Manzanita Studio is great for rest, relaxation, and being close to nature.

Ranch Guest Suite

Peaceful, quiet and private guest house on 20 acres near the town of Penn Valley in Nevada County, California. Our place has a remote feel but is only 25 minutes from Grass Valley. This is the place to relax, be in nature and/or visit the nearby historic towns of Grass Valley, Nevada City, Ananda Village, the West Coast Falconry, and numerous wineries. Do note that this guest house does NOT have a kitchen, only a small frig and a microwave and a hot plate on request.

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.

We're 10-15 mins drive to the Roseville Mall, Thunder Valley Casino, Fountains surrounded by restaurants, shops, boutiques, and Whole Foods. Walking distance to the Wood-creek Golf-course, Nugget Market, Safeway, Raley's grocery stores.

Comfy 1-bedroom guest suite in lower level of our mountain-style home with private entrance. Includes kitchenette, bathroom with shower, exclusive use of hot tub (on open deck) and firepit (wood provided).

Close to parks, wineries, breweries, downtown Lincoln and the Casino, it is centrally located with access to lots of different types of activities!

Situated in a peaceful setting, located on 2 1/2 acres in the Northern Sierra Nevada Foothills of California. We invite you to relax on the front porch and view the wildlife which may include deer, turkey, and many varieties of birds, depending on the season. Only minutes from Lake Wildwood. Grass Valley and Nevada City are also nearby.
