Welcome to our cosy glamorous bell tent set in a truly magical location where the woods meet the reeds. Enjoy the wonderful combination of riverside wilderness, farm animals and comfortable outdoors accommodation which is only ten minutes walk to Woodbridge with all the buzz of a lively Suffolk market town. Now with super-fast Fibre Max internet, The Beach House is situated on the Essex Sunshine Coast, right on the bank of a tidal creek with stunning views of the sea in front and the river behind. Being in the Nature Reserve, we cannot accept dogs or pets of any kind; sorry. We do not let to groups; we only let to families or two couples maximum. Absolutely no groups of more than four guests or parties of any kind. High tide sometimes cuts off the house so please be aware of this.

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

It is situated in between the village centre, where you will find all the necessary amenities, and Mill Dam Lake, where you will find water sport activities, scenic walks and bike rides. The cottage has been completely renovated to retain all the original quirky features of wonky ceilings, old exposed beams and original gate doors. The rooms are cosy and inviting.
