🌲Blue Jay’s Nest is a Peaceful Forest Retreat Near Giant Sequoias & Endless Trails. The serene cabin was designed by a Hollywood Oscar Winner to retreat with family to a simpler time, but with modern comforts. Ponderosa is tucked in the mountains along the scenic Great Western Divide. This is not a place for nightlife, shopping, or crowds. This is where you come to breathe pine-scented air, walk among ancient trees, follow the sound of mountain creeks, and fall asleep to the hush of the forest.

Little Sequoia is an updated 1-bedroom, 1 bath cabin for up to 4 guests. This charming cabin features a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a vintage oven and cooking essentials, satellite WiFi and two sleeping spaces (1 king bed and 1 full futon) – a perfect mountain getaway for a couple, small family, or friends. Whether you want to enjoy a BBQ on the patio or a cozy night by the fire, this place will delight all year round. We hope you love staying at Little Sequoia as much as we do.

Bluebird Cottage Spectacular lake views

Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. We are approximately a 3 hour Drive to Sequoia National Park. We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Incredible views!

Get away from it all in this stylish, studio cottage. Enjoy amazing views of the foothills and Tule River. Take a nap in the hammock, float peacefully in the river, or explore our wild 10 acres. In the evenings, enjoy stargazing or conversation at the fire pit. Our property is secluded, yet only 10 minutes from the main highway. We are in between Sequoia Forest (east) and Sequoia Park (north), with about an hour drive to each. We love to host remote workers/traveling health care providers.

Unobstructed views take your gaze over the expansive cattle ranch leading you to the foot of Mount Langley, Mount Whitney, Horseshoe Meadows, Mount Williamson and more. Where the cattle graze in the morning sunlight, and the coyote howls at heavens magical twilight, the life on the Lone Hunter Ranch has its way of taking you to the land before time. Relax and commune at our quiet storybook cabin. We are in the Sequoia National Forest- not the Park, fyi. 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, 1 bedroom and a full bath downstairs. A little gas log stove compliments the Nest central heating, keeping it toasty even as the snow piles high. We are on a 1/2 acre with a lovely meadow just steps from the back porch. A wood burning hot tub next to the fire ring provides a relaxing soak. We are Ponderosa- the sweetest secret in California. Cert #490

You're just 4 minutes to town and 10 minutes to Sequoia National Park. Unwind in the hot tub, sauna, or by the fire-pit, and enjoy bocce or horseshoes with friends while grilling with a view. With big windows and a cozy vibe, this spot feels like home while offering the escape you’re looking for. We’d love to host you!

Cozy Sequoia Cabin Camp Nelson

Relax, unwind, and enjoy the serenity of the mountains in this cozy cabin. With a large deck for BBQ'ing and amazing windows showcasing Slate Mountain, you'll find yourself not wanting to leave the cabin. But- while you're here, a couple musts are: fishing the Tule River, hiking Dome Rock, the Needles Trail, and playing a game of pool with the locals at the Tavern down the road. Another must is seeing the Giant Sequoias at the Trail of 100 Giants. We are not near the National Parks.
