The Carriage House is attached to the owner-occupied house by a shared wrap-around porch. As you'll see from the pictures, we are up on a hill overlooking Sinclair Inlet and the majestic Olympic Mountains. We are downtown Port Orchard, so restaurants and a myriad of cute shops are just steps away, as is the the lovely waterfront. You'll have the house to yourself to relax in the serenity you deserve. You can get to and from Port Orchard by ferry from Seattle, so a getaway with no car is doable!

Burke Bay A-Frame Retreat w/Cedar Hot Tub

Settle into this unique northwest retreat tucked into cozy Burke Bay. Built in the 1960s, this spacious A-frame has fun vintage vibes with modern comforts. Surrounded by 6+ acres of lush forrest, the whole crew will have plenty of room to get out and explore. At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. Our 6 acre homestead is located just outside of the historic fishing village of Gig Harbor WA & a 1 hr drive or ferry to Seattle. We are 10 min from state parks, hikes, beaches, restaurants, water sport rentals, kid fun, & antique stores. You will be staying in a stylish TINY house (300 sqft) w/loft & private downstairs bedroom. Fresh produce, gardens, farm animals, & a homesteading family happy to introduce you to the animals and share their homesteading knowledge with you.
