Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Hosts live next door and are easily available if needed! Everything is on the 1st floor except for the 3rd bedroom.

We are across from an active train track so if you like trains you can watch them from the front porch. Walk to restaurants, wineries and beer pubs. For family fun we’re is located a few minutes away from the shopping center, plenty of restaurants, main chain stores and more. Enjoy the convenience a parking garage& driveway, outdoor patio, dishwasher and washer & dryer. home has 4 beds 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a Queen bed, second bedroom has a Queen bed and a Full bed. The Living room has a sofa bed. Shovel in the garage for when it snows.

Calming atmosphere. Listen to the Mourning Doves after dawn and the owls at night as you sit around the fire bowl. Walk the tree covered bike trail. Grocery stores, pharmacies, shopping plazas and movie theater within 1 mile of your lodging.
