Welcome to Edgewater. Our garden suite is a completely private,separate suite. Guests have their own private entrance. Overlooking gardens and lake, you may enjoy spectacular sunrises and moonscapes. Listen to loons call as they locate one another on the lake. The suite has a comfortable sitting room, with dining table, and equipped kitchenette ( toaster, microwave, coffee press, kettle), ( there are no cooking facilities). Off the sitting room is a cozy bedroom, and private bathroom.

Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! It’s a bit of an awkward space, but it’s got lots of character. Used to be a bank many years ago, then a music studio, now the main floor is split into two separate spaces, the front is an office space and the back is this two bedroom apartment! There’s still a giant safe in one of the bedrooms from when it was a bank (do not try to go in the safe). It’s a good home base for your travels, being in such a great central downtown Dartmouth location and close to Downtown Halifax.
