The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

Welcome to the Riverside Studio from where a short stroll takes you to the Town Basin marina with cafes, shops and restaurants and the Hundertwasser art center and park. Maybe you fancy a walk around the Town Basin loop. Beautiful native bush walks up Parihaka from where you can enjoy sweeping views over the city and Whangarei Harbour or along the Hatea River, are on your door step. For a bigger work out you can keep going, via A.H. Reed park, right up to the Whangarei falls.

Modern spacious self contained studio with its own private entrance. 5 minutes from the Town Basin; a perfect base for exploring Whangarei. Upstairs bedroom with queen & single beds. Downstairs a separate bathroom adjacent to lounge with heat pump and small kitchenette. Includes jug, toaster, fridge, microwave. Renovated with unique touches, our 1 bedroom Studio space is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. A 15-20min walk along the Hatea Loop gets you to the Town Basin, home to newly opened Hündertwasser Museum, Wairau Māori Art Gallery, waterfront dining, and centre of town shopping. Best for 1-2 guests, but can snugly accommodate up to 4. Onsite carpark next to the self check-in studio apartment, fully detached & separate from the main house dwelling.

Vale Road Apartment - so close to the town basin!

Our self contained apartment is a leisurely 10 minute walk into the city town basin centre including the fabulous Hundertwasser museum. and right on the doorstep of lovely bush and river walks. This is a great place to explore Whangarei from or very handy if you are visiting for work. There is off street parking for your car and private access down 9 external stairs to the spacious unit. There is free unlimited WIFI .
