This quiet ground-floor garden suite has its own private entrance (we live upstairs) and feels tucked away among trees, yet close to everything. This unique, stylish ode to literary passion is a great space to come relax and take your mind off of the cares of the world. It is a great place to work remotely or to take a day off with your loved one. We are only 5 minutes from connecting highways - making it a great stop along your journey!

Mim's Place. Grandma's peaceful country home.

Mim's Place is a special place where all are welcome. Grandma Mim and Grandpa Pat built our little country farmhouse in 1940. It is a modest peaceful home surrounded by cattle and alpaca farms. Quail, dove birds and big horned owl are seen daily. Enjoy the sunrise over Horse Heaven Hills or the remarkable sunset as it falls over Mt. Adams. Only 3 miles away is Vintners Village, home to over 12 wineries and and great food. Prosser boasts over 35 wineries and is home to many wine events.

NOTE: this is a basement walk-out apartment underneath our family’s living space. While we have gone to extensive lengths to eliminate sound transfer, you may still hear occasional footsteps above (especially 7-9 am and 5-7 pm).
