Relax in our 100 year old spacious home situated in the heart of one of the wonderful historic districts in Clearfield, PA. Whether vacationing, just traveling through the area, or working you’ll have an enjoyable stay in the entire home. It features a large living room, den office, full kitchen, three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms a large fenced in back yard, large front and back porches sure to make you feel warm nostalgic hospitality. Only minutes from everything, you will feel the convenience.

Located on our family farm—note the name of the road!—we've recently renovated the farmhouse to add modern amenities and style to its original charm. Any of the many large windows affords a view of the farm's pastures, pond, apple trees, and hills. Prince Gallitzin State Park is less than five minutes down the road. The wrap-around porch offers a shady place to relax or even enjoy a meal outside. And, though the space is all your own, we live right across the yard should you need anything.

The cabin is located only 20 miles from Penn State University, making it the ideal place to stay while attending events at University Park. Nestled between Bald Eagle State Park and Black Moshannon State Park, this is the perfect getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the great outdoors. Firewood (for the firepit) is included.

Windows to the Past Guest House

We are close to Penn State. You’ll love my place because of its Victorian age ( 1880). Windows to the Past Guest House is suitable for business travelers, families (with kids over age 6), and big groups. The 1880 house was named for the variety of 19th Century style windows it contains. The most prominent owner of the property was John B. Ibberson local drug store proprietor. In the 1950's he decided to create for his son a 3rd floor that was the prototype "Man's Cave!

If you're looking for a unique escape from the daily grind, check out our historic cabin in a picturesque setting! Located within 30 minutes of downtown State College, the cabin has historic charm, modern amenities, and plenty of private outdoor space to relax. With three bedrooms, two full baths, fully stocked kitchen, multiple living areas and outdoor dining areas, the cabin has plenty of space for everyone. Very strict NO SMOKING rule.

The backyard has a pavilion with outdoor seating, a grill area with firewood, and firepit area. No Indoor fires allowed in the fireplace.

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
