This charming 1940's log cabin has been completely updated with high-end amenities, creating the perfect balance of rustic luxury. Located on 5 acres adjacent to Carson National Forest, the cabin backs up to a beautiful mountain wall and river running right off the back deck (typically dries up Oct-Jan). Just 10 min to the plaza, you’ll be close enough to enjoy the action of town, but far enough way to escape people and immerse yourself in nature. Lots of great hiking trails just minutes away.

1898 Boxcar, Charming Quiet Sanctuary

Ride our narrow-gauge Chile Line boxcar down to Santa Fe or Denver… in your mind! In the 1800s it hauled people, livestock, chiles, and dry goods through the Rio Grande Gorge. Today, this lovingly remodeled boxcar is rich with charm, featuring hand-crafted details and antique furnishings. Guests call it cozy and comfortable, and they delight in the views of pastureland and Taos Mountains.
