Shoal Bay sits on a remote island, completely off grid. Here we generate our own electrical power through a system of solars panels and micro-hydro. Just one of three boutique styled cottages at Shoal Bay, The RAVEN COTTAGE sits on the hillside overlooking the water. There are 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a cozy woodstove. Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
