Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. The Snug is a cosy wee detached holiday cottage tucked up a quite lane - a peaceful retreat. There's a comfy bedroom with king-sized bed, and a sofa bed in the living area, making it the ideal space for couples or small families (pets welcome too!). There's a lovely shingle beach at the foot of the lane and miles of secluded forest walks and cycle rides on the doorstep - the perfect base to escape the crowds and enjoy the beautiful west coast of Scotland.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.

Located on the east side of Loch Riddon, 3 miles north of Colintraive on Argyll’s Secret Coast, Loch Riddon Bothy is an architect designed modern bothy. It is set in a unique location with views out over the sea loch to the mountains beyond. The use of natural materials in the build and of natural textiles and local artwork inside ensure the Bothy is one of a kind. We have recently been awarded Gold certification by Green Tourism.
