Tucked into a quiet, wooded hillside, Hilltop Retreat is a peaceful private cottage designed for rest, focus, and comfort. Set on over six secluded acres, the home offers exceptional quiet and privacy while remaining just five minutes from downtown Abingdon. With fiber internet, it’s well suited for remote work or extended stays. Note: the steep gravel driveway requires a 4×4 vehicle. Early check-in or late Check-out may be possible please ask we are happy to accommodate if available.

Campside Cottage--a vacation retreat located across from Camp Burson at the entrance of Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, Virginia. Warrior Trail Lodging, LLC The Caretta Cottage

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.

We are an ATV friendly town and House is located in quiet friendly neighborhood with plenty of parking.
