Artist's Retreat Guest House

The Artist's Retreat Guest House is a two-bedroom Craftsman bungalow in the Earlham College neighborhood that welcomes adults visiting our community of Richmond, Indiana. It features a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a library filled with art books, a garden, fine antiques, and works by regional and international artists. Sorry, but no children, pets, or smoking. We keep the house allergen-free and many of the art pieces are too fragile or heavy for the safety of children and animals.

This private, spacious, two-story home was built in 1918. Past guests have loved the cozy gas fireplace and lovely front porch. It sleeps up to 6 in 3 upstairs bedrooms; with half bath on main floor, full bath upstairs. We do not allow pets. The place is kid-friendly, across from a wooded city park with rentable shelters, a playground and a basketball court. In a quiet residential area 3 blocks from Earlham College, 3.7 miles from Reid Hospital/IU East, 2.5 miles from Wayne County Fairground.

Located on the 4th Floor of the Loft Highway Building in the heart of Richmond’s Historic Depot District. The Loft Highway houses such local businesses as Roscoe’s Coffee Bar & Tap Room, Lisa’s Cakes, Oblivion Cinema & Arts, Journey Yoga Studio, and The Art of Hair Salon and Metamorphosis Day Spa. The Patch: a cozy country home on a country farm

Conveniently located from I-70 at exit 10, The Patch is an 1860 country home on a busy road in northern Preble County. Fully furnished, three-bedroom home. Main floor features a bedroom with a queen-size sleep number bed directly off an open office area, two more bedrooms located upstairs. Walk into the laundry area and kitchen. A large patio provides privacy and relaxation with a view of the farm. Perfect for work crews, stays, or just passing through. Ample parking for various vehicles.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Join us for a peaceful country stay, close enough to drive to nearby shopping and dining, and far enough to hear the crickets and see the stars. Your cozy place will include a kitchenette, coffee pot, microwave & TV. The dining area inside or on the attached deck, full size bed & full bath with shower. Only 3.9 miles from Interstate 70. Should you choose to, use 100-foot zipline to exercise your pet or a path to walk around our field.

Second floor of an 1865 Tin shop, industrial building. High, open beam ceilings & exposed brick walls. Bathroom features a soaker tub plus a lux walk in shower. The kitchen features quartz counters, a large farmhouse sink, really nice appliances and thoughtful touches everywhere. The wifi is excellent. Have issues with stairs? This is not a good choice for you. If you're up for stairs and want a unique slice of history in a hip package then you will not be disappointed.

Whether you are looking for a place to spend some time or just passing through we think you’ll find it quite lovely here. We are just 5 mile off of I70 and centrally located among many places of interest. Go out or stay in. The outdoor living space is pretty spectacular! Private, with a hot tub, fire pit (wood provided), turf to play corn hole. Inside delivers all the comforts of home with full kitchen, laundry, workspace and cozy fireplace.

You will have a great time staying in this newly renovated 2 bedroom, wheel chair accessible bathroom apartment. We have a spacious, open-concept kitchen and livingroom suitable for larger families or even hosting a small gathering or event. Located in the country 1/2 way between Indianapolis, IN and Dayton OH, you will find easy access to I 70. This apartment is pet friendly ($15/night) and is equipped with fenced yards for exercise.

Just off East Main

Newly renovated home just off East Main Street (five minutes off I-70) in the heart of the Richmond shopping/restaurant strip. This home is steps away from Glen Miller Park where you can enjoy a wooded area walk/run along the paved former golf course paths, tennis courts, picnic areas, fabulous children's playground area, pond, shelters, gazebo, and more. There is also a Pizza King and beverage shop within walking distance.
