Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Our railway carriage is a renovated 1930's goods wagon with rustic charm; tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside with easy access to Bath. It has an exclusive driveway and parking spot at the end of our two acre garden. You will approach the carriage through a short woodland walk which is lit at night. Accommodation consists of a sleeping pod with a standard double bed and ample storage; central living area with small leather sofa, log burner and kitchen pod with a seperate shower room.

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

Included in your stay are Kayaks, Paddle Boards & Bikes so you can kayak to the pub or cycle in to Bath and create some great memories and fun photo opportunities. At the end of the day you can relax in the outdoor bath with the fire crackling overlooking the water (Large glass of wine in hand optional) The hut is fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect stay.

GERTIE - Gertie is our beautiful home built traditional shepherds hut and is ready and waiting for guests. She sleeps 2 people in a small double sized bed. Fitted with a kitchen containing cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. En-suite rain shower, Burlington loo, heated towel rail and stacks of hot water. Cosy up next to the log burner and enjoy the wood fired hot tub which has become a popular addition.
