The annex is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Accessed by the main front door one then enters one's own private space. Recently converted it offers a fantastic double room. It is very light and airy. Fully heated so nice and cosy. There is a television with sky and wifi, table and chairs and basin. Welcome to our newly redecorated, warm, sunny and spacious garden annex. Off street parking and a short walk home from a day at the races - Rowley Mile Course. (The July course is a longer walk), or a 3 minute taxi ride from the High Street restaurants and Newmarket train station. When travelling we always appreciate a comfortable bed, fresh linen, a decent hot shower, large fluffy towels and being able to make a tea / coffee when we arrive. The location is an ideal access point to the nearby towns and villages in the Suffolk/Essex borders such as Lavenham, Long Melford, Sudbury, Finchingfield, Braintree and further afield Colchester, Newmarket, and Cambridge. As well as many local wedding venues.

The Hare’s Retreat, Great location & dog heaven!

The Hare’s retreat is one of two accommodations on site, the other ‘The Kingfisher Studio’. Excellent base to explore Suffolks beautiful towns, villages and coastal areas .

We are offering a comfortable modern guest suite in the riverside town of Wivenhoe. The room is a guest suite on the ground floor in our family home and you will have complete privacy. The room has its own en suite shower room and one double bed. There is a small kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a small fridge, sink, toaster & single induction hob. There is a smartTV as well as WiFi.

Tucked away but within a short walk of the market hill and Framlingham Castle yet only 25 minute drive from the coast. Our recently converted ground floor annexe has a Retro-Scandinavian feel comprising double bedroom with en-suite shower room and living area with sofabed and bespoke fitted kitchen. Guests will have use of part of the south facing garden and parking for one vehicle is in a shared driveway.

The Loft is situated on the edge of Stanton village in West Suffolk. Close to Bury St Edmunds - 15 mins by car, Cambridge - 45 mins by car or train from B St E, Stowmarket - Train station is 20 mins, London - Direct from Stowmarket by train, Aldeburgh - 45 min drive and many other coastal areas. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets).
