The Lookout is situated directly on the sea front between Southend on sea and Thorpe bay. We have stunning sea views and our balcony is the perfect place to watch the sunset over Southend pier. The beach is right outside our front door and a 15 min walk along it will take you to Southend sea front, with its many arcades and Adventure island. The 1 bedroom luxury apartment has a king size bed, south facing balcony, full kitchen, stylish wet room, 50" curved tv, free wifi and a log burner.

The Snuggery is a converted outbuilding that has been set up for a cosy stay with a wood burning stove and lots of snuggly wraps to cuddle up in. The open plan interior, high vaulted ceilings and natural oak flooring create an interior which is fun, light and airy. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy walks from the back door straight on to the North Downs Way and there is a bench by the front door fitted with a heated element, perfect for warming up your walking boots. Close to Stansted Airport (20 minutes), beautiful rural location, part of our 14th century farmhouse, the old Bakehouse is a cosy bedroom and ensuite with private entrance. We are not a hotel, but this is an extension of our family home. If you wish to leave your car, if you are flying from Stansted, we can offer long-term parking for £10/day (vs £25/day at Stansted Airport). Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
